Powers and Abilities

Divine Rod - The divine rod is a retractable weapon that is at it's greatest potential when infused with spiritual energy. When not in use only the hilt remains. When she needs it the stick slides out, and with some concentration it illuminates. Oftentimes she will slide her hand over the rod as it lights up and kanji appear on the "blade". Yes.. it practically is a light saber.

Talismans - Like Rei Hino, she can throw these ofuda-like weapons and yell "dispell spirit" and the weaker creatures will dissipate the stronger ones will incur pain. She's also used these to erect barriers, or she has tossed them out in a flurry one one talisman is insufficient. In the movie, when she's trying not to be trapped in the spider's web she throws out a ton of these which do get stuck to the silken threads then she walks on them like stepping stones.

Absorbing Scroll - When this is unfurled in front of her opponent, and she says "ABSORB".. a vacuum sucks the creature into the circular design in the center of the page. Once that's over, she deftly folds it back up. Sometimes she then burns these.

Divine Fan - Later in the series Mikami is allowed to borrow a divine fan from the heir of the dragon gods and it looks like she just never returns it. She uses the fan to block attacks much like the Divine Rod, and it also is emblazoned with kanji when it's unfurled and used to channel her spiritual energy.

Spirit Gem - Mikami has an assortment of spirit gems which she wears as jewelry to keep them close. Her earrings and necklace are all spirit gems. Tossing these at enemies is a great way to make a speedy escape. They will emit a blinding light, allowing her to take off while also inflicting discomfort on her enemy. Also, later down the line she is able to create spirit gems herself... but it's difficult to do.. especially for someone of her personality type soooooooo it's not something she could do often.

Soul Separation - Looks like she closes her eyes to concentrate. After a few words "The soul of Tadao Yokoshima!! Release him from his body!! Soul Seperate!" the soul is released from the physical shell. She also whacked him with a baseball bat to knock the spirit out of him but that might be optional for a more willing victim. If the soul is separated for too long the body can die.

Physically - Mikami is very agile, can execute aerial kicks, etc.

Spiritually - Her hair will rise and fan out when she senses something nearby.

Necromancy - With Meiko and Emi she was able to summon Lady Himiko.. the most powerful witch in their canon from beyond the grave.

Shadow form - Used only in the training temple but it is a large representation of herself complete with lance/spear and armor.
